Summit Euromed of Economic and Social Councils
Roger Nasnas participated in the European summit - Mediterranean Economic and Social Councils. Nasnas called Economic and Social Councils and the Euro-Mediterranean solidarity to contribute to solving the problem of the displaced. He demanded economic and social councils Euro-Mediterranean jointly and severally in the difficult conditions that prevailed in the region and in particular to contribute to address the issue of displaced Syrians that Lebanon and Jordan cannot bear alone, wishing to end the state of war in Syria, so that those displaced Syrians return home.

Launching of Emerging Lebanon 2016 at the Grand Serail
Twenty-four authors contributed to this book. It is the result of a dialogue between public actors and engaged economists; just likewise any issue that ought to be debated by the plenary of the Economic and Social Council. The subject matter is the object of the Council, which is the social dialogue. Though the General assembly was absent for a time, the Council, through this work, fulfilled its duties at best by guiding the public authority towards a national consensus on economic and social matters.

Arab Work Conference (Cairo)
On the sidelines of the Arab Labour Conference held in Cairo: it was decided to form a preparatory committee to prepare a draft work for the Creation of the Association of Arab Economic and Social Councils. The preparatory committee would be composed of economic and social councils in Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Mauritania and Palestine. Its task would be to prepare a working draft of the Association of Economic and Social Councils in Sharm El Sheikh and Lebanon, and help in the creation of ESCs in countries that do not. Election of Roger Nasnas as President of the Economic & Social Council In 12 February 2000, Roger Nasnas was designated as one of the state representatives at the first general assembly of the Economical and Social Council where he was elected on 12th February , for three years , as president founder. Currently he is still assuming the function of President of the Economic & Social Council. His activities are limited in expediting current affairs awaiting the designation of the general assembly members . The CES was agreed to be established in the Taef National Agreement.
